Christian has written, performed & produced sketch comedy since 2004.

His first show, The Zim Zam Kök Show, was started with fellow students from Lindenwood University. The Zim Zam Kök Show writing process was a marathon: the show was 2 hours long, produced monthly & required the writing of at least 15 sketches with segues. This was a comedy trial-by-fire and a quick education in sketch writing.

Christian went on to perform sketch comedy with Excelsior!, The Fingerbreaker Brothers, Sketchpad Comedy, Something Sketchy This Way Comes and more.

In 2009, this sketch writing background helped form the backbone of Bare Knuckle Comedy (originally Punch Drunk Comedy) the connective tissue between comics during History Shmistory & the character-driven show Boob Gun.
